1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all online payments made to Sunworld Public School (“the School”) through the official payment gateway available on the School’s website. By making an online payment, parents, guardians, or users agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
All refunds and cancellations are governed by School rules, CBSE guidelines, and applicable laws of India.
2. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds may be considered only under the following conditions:
- Duplicate payment for the same fee or service
- Excess amount paid due to a technical or system error
- Failed transaction, where the amount is debited but not credited to the School’s account
- Admission cancellation, if permitted as per School and CBSE norms
All refund requests must be supported with valid transaction proof and relevant details.
3. Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise by the School:
- Registration or application fees
- Admission or enrollment fees
- Annual fees once the academic session has commenced
- Examination, assessment, or activity fees
- Late payment charges and payment gateway convenience fees
4. Refund Timelines
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7–10 working days from the date of payment.
- After verification and approval, refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.
- The actual credit of the refunded amount depends on the bank or payment gateway and may take additional time.
5. Mode of Refund
- Approved refunds will be made only through the original mode of payment used at the time of transaction.
- No cash or cheque refunds will be issued for online payments.
- Any applicable administrative or payment gateway charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
6. Cancellation Policy
- Requests for cancellation of admission or services must be submitted in writing to the School administration.
- Admission cancellations are subject to School rules and CBSE guidelines applicable at the time of admission.
- The effective date of cancellation will be the date on which the written request is received and acknowledged by the School.
7. Exceptions
Refunds shall not be granted in the following situations:
- Non-attendance of classes after payment of fees
- Voluntary withdrawal without valid written notice
- Disciplinary action taken against a student
- Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the parent/guardian
- Delays caused by banks or third-party payment gateway providers
The decision of the School management shall be final in all such matters.
8. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
In case of any dispute related to refunds or cancellations:
- Parents/guardians should first contact the School administration with transaction details.
- All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Bihar, India.

Sunworld Public School reserves the right to amend or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on the School’s official website and shall be effective immediately.
