1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the online payment facility (“Payment Gateway”) provided by Sunworld Public School (“the School”) through its official website. By accessing or using the online payment system, parents, guardians, students, or any authorized payer (“User”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Purpose of Online Payments
The Payment Gateway is provided for making online payments towards:
- School fees (tuition, development, examination, transport, etc.)
- Admission or registration fees
- Other academic or school-related charges as notified by the School
All payments are subject to School rules, CBSE guidelines, and applicable laws.
3. Payment Authorization
- Users confirm that they are legally authorized to make the payment.
- The School does not store card, UPI, or banking credentials.
- All transactions are processed securely through a third-party payment gateway.
4. Accuracy of Information
Users are responsible for ensuring the correctness of:
- Student name and admission number
- Class/section details
- Fee category and amount
The School shall not be responsible for issues arising from incorrect information submitted during payment.
5. Transaction Confirmation
- A payment is considered successful only after receipt of confirmation from the payment gateway.
- Users are advised to retain the transaction receipt or reference number for future correspondence.
- In case of failed or pending transactions, users should first check with their bank or payment provider.
6. Refunds & Cancellations
- Refunds, if applicable, shall be governed by the School’s Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Convenience or payment gateway charges are non-refundable.
- Approved refunds will be processed only through the original mode of payment.
7. Failed or Duplicate Transactions
- In case of failed transactions where the amount is debited but not credited to the School, refunds will be processed after verification.
- Duplicate payments made for the same purpose may be refunded after due validation.
8. Third-Party Payment Gateway
- The School uses third-party service providers to facilitate online payments.
- The School shall not be held responsible for any delay, failure, or interruption caused by the payment gateway, banks, or network providers.
- Users agree to comply with the terms of the respective payment gateway service provider.
9. Data Collection & Privacy
- Basic transaction-related data may be collected for payment processing and record-keeping.
- The School does not sell or misuse personal data.
- All data handling is subject to applicable Indian data protection laws and the School’s Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
Sunworld Public School shall not be liable for:
- Technical errors, network issues, or system failures
- Unauthorized access due to user negligence
- Delays caused by banks or third-party service providers
- Loss or damage arising from misuse of the payment facility
11. Right to Modify
The School reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be published on the School’s official website and shall be effective immediately.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Bihar, India.
